The EK-2000 interface has been designed to enable the use of your accordion with all the midi instrument sounds of any midi sound module, without using your tone generator. It's quick and easy installation allows you to immediately obtain new and exciting results from an instrument you are already very familiar with. Simply connect your accordion to the main "accordion" connector of the EK-2000 interface, connect the "midi out" to any expander module, and start playing; you now have a midi controller accordion.
The various tone switches of your instrument will now create MIDI codes of program change and control change to reproduce their existing function, and will also be capable of other interesting functions, including expansion to a total of 7 transmitting midi channels. In addition, the Series III & Elka 83 models will now have a modulation control for Solo and Preset / Registration sections: 13 switches for control in real-time, start / stop of electronics Drums, Fill, Break, Intro / Ending.
Now be free from carrying and repairing your tone generator. The EK-2000 is 13" X 4" and weighs less than 4 lbs.
