It has been said over and over that it is impossible to sit still while listening to the music of Tim Janak.

Specializing in the music from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czechoslavakia, his show includes the use of authenic Tirolean Cowbells, and the Swiss Alphorn.

Tim's experience started in a small Polish Restaurant in Cypress, Texas called Pavoloski's. He entertained there for two years before he ventured out to Bavarian Gardens in Houston, Texas. During the next 12 years he performed with several bands which gave him the opportunity to travel and perform at festivals in the United States, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Czechoslavakia. Tim currently performs close to 100 private engagements per year.

Tim's performances at times will feature the audience more than himself. He is a firm believer in getting the audience involved which often means letting members of the audience ring the cowbells, play the alphorn or with a choice of unusual percussion instruments to compliment his accordion playing. Along with all the fun be prepared to dance all the old time dances like, "Put Your Little Foot", Ten Pretty Girls", " The Chicken Dance", "The Hokey Pokey"," The Cotton Eyed Joe", schottishes, polkas, waltzes and other music from the old country as well as good old Texas songs.

All in All you're always in for a GREAT TIME!!!!!!!!!

During the time that he is not entertaining, Tim is a massage therapist and welcomes any questions that musicians may have concerning muscular problems in their hands, back or arms that may hinder their playing capability. Check out his website at www.pathsinhealing.com.

Tim's first solo CD was released in the spring of 1999. It features the Petosa Midi Tuba Bass Accordion, Cowbells and the Swiss Alphorn and will be comprised of songs from the old country along with some good old Texas songs.
